WEDDING DAY BOOKING
Travel cost will differ depending on the location.
Costs that are considered when travel is quoted are: fuel, wear and tear, time used, packing my kit and clean up.
TIP: If you have a group booking, travel cost can be divided and incorporated into individual makeup costs.
A deposit is required for group bookings/wedding parties. The deposit will secure the date for you and ensure that if anything were to happen, income isn’t drastically affected.
Until deposit payment is received, a tentative booking is made, though your appointment is not 100% guaranteed until the deposit has been received.
For the bride, a trial is highly recommended. It ensures we both know what to expect on your day.
TIP: If you have an event coming up, book your trial in. This will help us get an understanding of how the makeup will wear through the night and how it will show in photos.
WEDDING DAY PREPARATION
If you plan on getting a facial before your wedding, avoid intensive treatments within the month leading up to your big day. Other facials should be done no later than one week before your wedding. Treatments done too close to the wedding may affect how makeup sits on your skin.
Yes! Get into the habit of wearing sunscreen 2–3 weeks before your wedding to avoid sunburn or peeling. This will help ensure your skin is in its best condition for makeup application.
Absolutely! If you require any changes to your makeup, please let me know in advance so I can bring the right tools and products to accommodate your request.
On the day of your wedding, avoid facial oils and thick moisturisers unless absolutely necessary. A clean, fresh face is the best preparation for makeup application.
I prefer to do the bride’s makeup first, giving her time to relax, gather her thoughts, and have more time for hair and dressing. Bridesmaids’ makeup will follow, starting with the maid of honour and then any other booked individuals. This schedule also allows time for necessary touch-ups.
1:1 MAKEUP SESSIONS
1:1 sessions are designed to help you learn how to do makeup on your own face. Whether you’re looking for an everyday makeup routine or want to refine your skills, these sessions will guide you step by step.
During the session, I will demonstrate makeup application on one half of your face, explaining products, tools, and techniques. You will then apply makeup to the other side of your face with my coaching. We will also use a face chart to discuss the application method, which you can take home.
Yes! After the session, I will email you a step-by-step guide covering everything we did, including the tools, products, and application methods used, so you can confidently replicate the look.
Absolutely! Sessions are tailored to your needs and are priced accordingly. You can choose to focus on areas like contouring, eyeshadow blending, eyelash application, or everyday makeup techniques.
Yes! Bringing your own makeup and brushes allows us to discuss how to get the most out of your products. This also helps avoid feeling overwhelmed with too many new products introduced during the session.
COSMETIC TATTOO PRE-CARE
To ensure the best results and healing process, follow these pre-care guidelines:
- Avoid drinking alcohol 48 hours prior to your appointment.
- Limit caffeine intake to one drink on the day of your procedure.
- Avoid exposure to the sun and tanning treatments one week prior.
- Do not tweeze, wax, or undergo any treatments on your brows one week before your appointment.
- Avoid taking blood-thinning vitamins, minerals, and supplements two weeks prior.
- Refrain from using retinol or AHA products on the brow area two weeks before the procedure.
- Avoid facials, including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and laser treatments, for four weeks prior.
COSMETIC TATTOO HEALING & AFTERCARE
Do not touch or pick at your eyebrows during the flaking stage, as this can interfere with the healing process. Avoid sleeping on your sides to prevent irritation.
You can use products such as:
- Bepanthen
- Vitamin E ointment
- Vitamin D ointment
These will help keep the area moisturised and support proper healing.
The healing process typically takes 4–8 weeks. Here’s what to expect:
- Day 1: Brows appear dark and defined.
- Days 2–4: Brows may look even darker as the pigment settles.
- Days 5–7: The skin starts to flake and peel.
- Days 8–14: More flaking occurs, and the pigment may appear lighter.
- Days 15–30: The colour begins to even out.
- Weeks 4–8: Full healing is complete, and the final colour is visible.
No, avoid swimming and saunas for 14 days following your treatment to prevent irritation and pigment loss.
No, do not apply makeup over your brows for 14 days, as this can interfere with healing and pigment retention.
Avoid using cleanser or shampoo near the area for 14 days. Before washing your hair, apply a layer of aftercare cream to protect your brows.
Only use the aftercare cream provided or recommended by your therapist. Apply a thin smear on a clean fingertip morning and night for 14 days after gently patting the area clean with a cotton pad.
No, do not have laser or facial treatments until the tattoo site has fully healed. To maintain pigment, avoid Vitamin A creams, cleansers, and acid-based creams on your brows for one month.
Yes, colours will appear darker initially and then soften after 14 days. An emoji chart will be provided to help you understand the healing process.
No, avoid using paw cream on any tattooed areas, as it may interfere with healing.
Never touch the area with unwashed fingers, and do not pick at any dry or flaking areas while your brows are healing.
Please re-book your free perfection visit in 4–6 weeks after your initial session to ensure the best results.
